You can literally put your money where your mouth is with these enamel, silver and gold Seven Sins earrings by the Rome-based jeweler Delfina Delettrez, who must have accessories in her blood. (She’s a fourth-generation Fendi.) Her work, with its gothic bent and unusual combinations of colors and materials, is often inspired by the human body, especially as it’s depicted in paintings by Giorgio de Chirico and the work of Andreas van Vessel, the 16th-century anatomist. The earrings are about $1,600 at Opening Ceremony, 35 Howard Street, or go to openingceremony.us.

Bea Valdes’ creations are the result of a real passion for her craft. The designer works with her mother, sister and an extended family of Philippine artisans. Each unique accessory is a true work of love. Bea Valdes calculates the space between each bead, sequin and crystal to realize her detailed designs. This elegant black assymetrical clutch is encrusted with crystals and cut beads, forming incredible overlapping shapes. The glistening embellishment covers the entire bag, including the base. The bag has a magnetic closure, is satin lined and the chain strap can be neatly tucked away.

This elegant dark brown clutch is encrusted with crystals and cut beads, forming incredible overlapping shapes. The glistening embellishment covers the entire bag, including the base. The bag has a magnetic closure and is lined with satin.
This unusual accessory has been handmade using palm sticks, silk, pearl and gold. The palm sticks are harvested from bunches of coconuts and it can take many creative hours, and many hands to complete one bag. The palm sticks are cut in half due to their heaviness and are then applied to the shell of the handbag. Each stick is then hand sewn to the shell. Each of the sticks are lacquered and highly skilled artisans carefully apply gold leaf to the outside. The corners of each bag have been embellished in either sterling or gold gilded design which has been hand etched and the delicate pearl clasp is a stunning finishing touch to this timeless piece.
